Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your device and which make it possible to analyse use of the websites you visit. Google Analytics may also use so-called “web beacons” (invisible graphics). These web beacons enable information such as visitor traffic on websites to be analysed. The information produced by cookies and web beacons on the use of our website (including the user’s IP address) is transmitted to a Google server, possibly in the USA or other third countries, and stored there. This information may be passed on by Google to its contractual partners.
Information on Google’s existing Privacy Shield certification and other relevant data on Google’s data processing within the framework of the use of Google services can be found in this privacy policy under section „6. Information on Google services“.
The following types of data are processed by Google:
- Online identifiers (including cookie identifiers)
- IP address
- Device identifiers
In addition, you can find more detailed information about the information processed at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/#infocollect under “Data we receive as a result of your use of our services” and at https://privacy.google.com/businesses/adsservices/.
We only use Google Analytics with IP-anonymisation activated. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within EU member states or in other countries which are party to agreements governing the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
We have furthermore entered into an agreement for contract processing with Google for the use of Google Analytics (art. 28 GDPR). Google processes the data on our behalf to analyse your use of the website, compile reports for us on website activities and to provide us with further services associated with use of the website and the internet. Google may under certain circumstances transmit this information to a third party if required by law to do so, or if a third party is processing this data on Google’s behalf.
By using Google Analytics we are pursuing the aim of analysing user behaviour on our website so that we can react to it. This enables us to continuously improve our offer.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is art. 6 para 1 letter f) GDPR. The required legitimate interest in doing so lies in the great benefit which the functions described above have for our offer. Statistical analysis of user behaviour makes it possible for us in particular to react to and optimise our offer to suit users’ needs.

Google also has a legitimate interest in the collected (personal) data to improve its own services.
Right to object – you have the right to object
You can send or inform us of your objection at any time (e.g. by email to gdpr@walterscheid.com).

14. Use of OHP CM-Expert-Cloud / CM-Software
As a registered customer, you are able to use our Monitoring Cloud to test the functioning of your machines. Measurement data which are collected via the machines’ sensors are evaluated and displayed by it in real time. Alarm thresholds which indicate when limit values have been exceeded can be set in the system. Speed, acceleration, RMS, imbalance, alignment and BIAS trends, as well as the speed signal, are displayed and can be compared with one another in individually selected time windows. Raw signals and the FFT analysis make a quick overview of the current situation and developments possible. The relationship with the actual situation becomes transparent via an individually configurable visualisation. With its link to the respective site software, all current methods of analysis are also available.
To fully use the services provided by the Cloud, you must first register. In addition to setting your access data (user name and password), it is necessary to register your name, company, telephone number and email address, including details of anyone deputising for you, in order to guarantee secure and prompt communication of alarm messages and to pass on recommended actions. The legal basis for this is art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR, as it is necessary to process your data in order to make the service available. Registration is also necessary in order to identify you unambiguously, and has the purpose of preventing misuse or unauthorised access.
Your personal data will be stored for the duration of the contractual relationship and deleted after it has ended, taking into account statutory storage requirements.
You have the right to object to the use of your data at any time. However, providing personal data is necessary for concluding the contract and using the service. Failure to provide data would therefore under circumstances have the consequence that you would no longer be able to use the service, unless you make an alternative user available.
